ACROA Becomes Full Member of the European CRO Federation (EUCROF)
25th February 2026 – The Albanian CRO Association (ACROA) is proud to announce its official admission as a Full Member of the European CRO Federation (EUCROF). This milestone marks a transformative step in integrating Albania’s clinical research sector into the broader European scientific and regulatory landscape.
By achieving Full Member status, ACROA joins the network of national associations dedicated to promoting high-quality clinical research across Europe. This partnership grants the Albanian research community a direct voice in the evolution of European clinical trial standards, ethics, and innovation.
Elevating Albania’s Research Profile
As a member of EUCROF, ACROA will actively represent the interests of Albanian Contract Research Organizations (CROs) within European regulatory bodies, including the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the European Commission. This collaboration ensures that Albania is not only a participant in global health research but a contributor to the policies that govern it.
"Joining EUCROF as a full member is a consequence to the growth and professionalism of the clinical research sector in Albania," stated the ACROA Executive Board. "This membership provides our local stakeholders with unparalleled access to international expertise, specialized working groups, and a platform to showcase Albania as a competitive, high-quality hub for international clinical trials."
